A RESOLUTION of the City of Renton, Washington, duly passed
by the City Council and approved by the Mayor thereof, (re-
questing the Federal Communications Commission to extend the
broadcasting time of Station KXRIi located at 7th Avenue
North and Park Street, Renton$ Washington.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON.
That whereas Station KXRNI located at 7th Avenue
North and Park Street, Renton, Washington, is now broadcast-
ing on a limited time schedule and the City Council of the
Oity of Renton being firmly convinced that an increased time
schedule would substantially benefit the City of Renton and
surrounding communities; and whereas because of present con-
ditions said station can serve a vital function in disseminat-
ing news items in conjunction and cooperation with Civil De-
fense operations and also other items of information which
might be not only of interest to the public at large, but
also serve as a central dispatching agency;
NOW THEREFORE the City Council of the City of Renton
hereby recommend to the Federal Communications Commission
that favorable consideration be given to Station KXRN for
an increased time schedule.
