Amends Ordinance N�. 3554 CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 3960 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3554 GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO BEL TERRA CORPORATION FOR ACCESS TO CEDAR RIDGE RESIDENTIAL PLAT BY EXTENDING THE TERM THEREOF FROM THE ORIGINAL TERM OF TWENTY FIVE YEARS TO A TERM OF THIRTY FIVE YEAR5. WHEREAS the City of Renton previously entered into a franchise agreement involving a roadway to serve the plat originally known as Cedar Ridge, also known as Falcon Ridge; and rn � o WHEREAS the present owner, Norcon Development, has rn � � requested an extension of that franchise for an additional ten-year �n � period of time and the City Council finding that such extension of time is in the public interest and benefit; now therefore THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDA3N AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The Franchise granted under Ordinance No. 3554 for access to Cedar Ridge residential plat, also known as Falcon Ridge, is hereby extended from a period of twenty five years to a period of thirty five years. The original termination date of the Franchise of June 15, 2006 is hereby extended to June 15 , 2016 , but expressly conditioned upon the Franchise holder modifying the owners ' covenants to extend to the homeowners ' covenants as they relate ta this Franchise, to June 15, 2016 . SECTION II: This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage, approval and thirty days after publication.
