RESOLUTION NO,_ 790
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
The City Council finds that there presently exists in the
City of Rentono Washington, a critical shortage of rental housing
units; that the supply of rental housing units available for
rental is far less than the existing and immediate demand for same;
that said condition results from the rapid growth of the City and
increased population therein, and is expected to be more critical
in the immediate future, and is not created solely by temporary
war.emergency, but results from natural and rapid increase in
papulation.
A certified copy of this resolution shall be forwarded as
a report to the Federal Housing Authority for its information and
r'
use in considering and acting upon any(application for approval
of rental housing construction in the City of Renton
PASSED by the City Council this 7thday of December, 1950.
