BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON--
That
ASHINGTON:
That it is the consensus of the City Council, concurring in recommendations
of the Property Committee of the Renton City Council and the Renton Park Board,
that the two tracts below described in Renton Highlands, �n which the Administra-
tion Building and thePCommunity Buildings, respectively, (are situate)., should at

the appropriate time �ecome the property of the City of Renton, for park and play-
ground purposes,
A copy of this Resolution shall be furnished to the Housing Authority of
the City of Renton, to advise it of the above plan, and the Housing Authority is
requested to adopt and initiate such policies and actions as may be best calcula-
ted to make said property available to the City of Renton at the least expense and
at such time as may be appropriate, in connection with its planning for disposition
of housing properties.
The two tracts hereinabove referred to are described as follows:
(a) Administration Building Area:
A portion of Section 9, Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W.M.
situated in the City of Renton, Washington, more particularly described
as follows: -
Beginning at the southwest corner of Block 16 of Renton High-
lands Addition to the City of Renton, as recorded in Vol. 46 pages 34 to
41 in the office of the Auditor of King County, State of Washington; thence
north along the west line of said block and the east line of "E" Street as
shown on said plat to the northwest corner of Block 7 of said.plat; thence
easterly along the northerly line of Block 7 and the southerly line of
9th Ave. North to a point 47.65 ft. east of the northeast corner of Block
7; thence S 10 Olt W a distance of 886.67 ft to a point on the northerly
line of lot 11 Block 16, 19.27 ft westerly from the northeast corner; thence
easterly along said northerly line block 16, 126.27 ft; thence S 90 56'
09".W 25 ft to the northwest corner of lot 14 block 16; thence easterly
along the north line of said lot 14 to the northeast corner; thence S 60
50+ 3311, 75 ft to the southeast corner of Block 16;.thence westerly along
the south line of said block to the point of beginning, together with all
buildings and improvements, less the following described tract:
Beginning at a point 90.4 ft north of the southwest corner of
Block 16 of Renton Highlands Addition to the City of Renton, Washington,
said point being on the east line of "E" Street as shown on said plat;
thence north along said east line 160 -ft; thence S 890 59' E 96.0 ft;
thence S 690 00, 44" E 220.6 ft; thence S 200 591 16" W 167.2 ft; thence
N 690 00' 44" 210.0_ft; thence N 890 59' W 46.0 ft to point of beginning.
(b) Community Buildings Site:
A portion of the Southwest Quarter of Section 4, Township 23
North, Range 5 East, W.M., situated in the City of Renton, Washington,
bounded on the north by 15th Avenue North, on the east by 'tJ" Street, on
the south by 14th Avenue North, and on the west by "I" Street, together
with all the buildings and improvements thereon.
