BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENT ON:.
The City Council finds that there presently exists in the City of
Renton, Washington, a critical shortage of rental housing units; that
the supply of rental housing units available for rental is far less
than the existing and immediate demand for same; that said condition
results from the rapid growth of the City and increased population
therein, and is expected to be more critical in the immediate future,
and is not created solely by temporary war emergency, but results from
natural and rapid increase in population.
PASSED by the City Council this 27th day of February, 1951,
