A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY CITY CLERK:
WHEREAS Wiley Crook, City Clerk of the City of Renton, has here-
tofore submitted in writing his appointment of Dorothea S. Gossett
to be his Deputy with the title of Deputy City Clerk, due to his
temporary incapacity by reason of illness, NOW, THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON:
The appointment of Dorothea S. Gossett as Deputy City Clerk,
made November 13, 1951, in writing by Wiley Crook, City Clerk of
Renton, be and is hereby approved and confirmed; the powers and
authority of said Deputy City Clerk to exercise and perform all
the rights, powers and duties of the City Clerk of Renton, vested
in her by said appointment, be and are likewise hereby approved
and confirmed, including the powers and authority to sign all
Warrants, Licenses, Contracts, Bonds, and other documents, Resolu-
tions and Ordinances, and the affixing of the corporate Seal, and
all other functions and acts which are incumbent upon or authorized
to the City Clerk under State law and the Ordinances of Renton.
PASSED by the City Council this 13th day of November, 1951,
