(Cedar River Park Project)
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY -OF REN70N:
WHEREAS, in the acquisition of buildings and improvements in Cedar River
Park Project by transfer from the Federal Government it is incumbent upon
the City of Renton in subsequent operation of said housing project to make
certain payments in lieu of taxes, and said Project has now been transfer-
red from the Government to the City of Renton on June 30, 1952; and
WHEREAS, the sum of %6,251.51 as payments in lieu of taxes for the re -

maining six (6) months of 1952 are due and payable at time of transfer;
now therefore,
The City Treasurer and City Clerk of Renton are (authorized hereby to
isburse from "Cedar River Park Acquisition and Project Fund" aid sum of
06,251.5 # for the purpose of such/payments in "lieu of taxe for the last
one -hal of 1952; and the issuance by them of Warrants for said purpose
on June 30, 1952 is hereby approved and ratified, it being necessary :J�porder to
obtain transfer of the Project on that date; and
Said City Treasurer is authorized to transfer the above sum from the
"Current Fundis as a loan to said "Cedar River Park Acquisition :and Project
Fund'T, said loan to be repaid therefrom to the "Current Fund" as and when
funds become available therefor in said "Cedar River Park Acquisition and
Project Fund.
PASSED by the City Council this 1st day of July, 1952.
