HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 08474 RESOLUTION 140. 847 WHEREAS the City of Renton is presently engaged in a program of water and sewer improvement, and JrrrEREAS there are presently outstanding $24,000.00 of sewer bonds bearing interest at the rate of 2_�%, and in order to expedite the program of water and sewer improvement, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON: That the $24,000.00, two and one-half percent (22j) SEWER REVENUE BONDS be recalled and redeemed s of March 1, 1953 and that the City Treasurer be authorized and directed to notify Bramhall & Stein, the City of Rentonts financial assistants, of such recall and redemption so that the holders of the aforedescribed bonds be so notified. The City Treasurer is further authorized and directed to use and employ appropriate funds, on a loan basis, not to exceed thirty (30) days, from the WATER AND SEWER FUNDS, CUMULATIVE FUND NO. 1182 and CUMULATIVE FUND NO. 11$4, for the purpose of said recall and redemption.
