WHEREAS, the hereinafter named employees of the City of Renton
are members of the Washington State -Wide City Employees' Retirement System,
in the classification of MISCELLANEOUS PERSONNEL, and said persons having
attained the compulsory retirement age of sixty-five (65) years of age,
and said persons being presently physically fit to continue such employ-
ment and service with the City of Renton and said persons having requested
an extension of the Compulsory Retirement System, and the City Council of
the City of Renton having due regard for such an extension for the
purpose of correlating such present benefits with the benefits to be
derived from pending Social Security legislation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON,
That the time of retirement of the following named employees
of the City of Renton, for the reasons specified above, and they being
members of the Washington State -Wide City Employees' Retirement System
under the classification of MISCELLANEOUS PERSONNEL, to -wit:
JOSEPH ALLAN
WILLIAM H. WATKINS
Be and the same is hereby extended for a period of six (6)
months from date hereof.
A copy of this Resolution, adopted pursuant to Section XIV,
Chapter 71, Laws of 1947, as amended by Chapter 228, Laws of 1953:
shall be transmitted by the Clerk of the City of Renton to the Board
of Trustees of the aforesaid Washington State -Wide City Employees t
Retirement System.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON this 16th
day of November, 1954•
