HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 0891RESOLUTION NO, g°l WHEREAS, the hereinafter named employees of the City of Renton are members of the Washington Statewide City Employeest Retirement System, in the classification of MISCELLANEOUS PERSONIFCL, and said persons having obtained the compulsory retirement age, but said persons being presently physically fit to continue such employment and service with the City of Renton and said 1�e rsons having requested an extension of time under the provisions of said Retirement System and as provided by law, and the City Council of the City of Renton having. due regard for such an extension for the purpose of correlating such present benefits with the benefits to be derived from certain Social Security enabling legislation, recently enacted into law and designated as Chapter IV, Laws of Extraordinary Session, 1955, MAYOR AND THE NOI,,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE/CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLO_iS s That the time of retirement of the following named eipployees of the City of Renton, for the reason specified above, and they being members of the ;ashington Statewide City Employeest Retirement System, under the classification of MISCELLANEOUS PERSONNEL, to -wit: VILLIAvI H. WATKINS EIMMON H. BEIL EDWARD BUNSTINE ALBERT H. ERICKSON JOSEPH W. ALLEN Be and the same is hereby extended for a period of six months, effective October 12, 1955, to -wit, until April 12, 1956. A copy of this resolution, adopted pursuant to Section XIV, Chapter 71, Laws of 1947, as amended, shall be transmitted by the Clerk of the City of Renton to the Board of Trustees of the aforesaid :iashington Statewide City Employees' Retirement System.
