WHEREAS the below mentioned department funds. of the City of
Renton, to -wit, the ewage Disposal Fund)and the (Airport Fund)were
required to meet certain obligations and expenditures which were not
foreseeable at the time of the adoption of the 1955 Budget, including
expenditures for extra help and labor to maintain the tower operation
of said Airport while under emergency repairs, and other items; AND
NHEREAS it is necessary for the proper administration, operation and
maintenance of the City and said Departments to transfer funds between
items within the general class of "Salaries and Wages" as provided for
by Chapter 322 of the Session Laws of 1955, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
1. The foregoing recitals and facts are found and determined by
the City Council to be true and correct and that it is to the best
interests of the City of Renton to cause the hereinbelow specified
transfers to be made.
2. The City Treasuber is hereby authorized and directed to make
and execute transfers between the following specified items within the
general class of "Salaries and -rages" of the Airport Fund, to -wit:
(a) Transfer of the sum of '$1.250.00 from "Maintenance Man --
Part -Time" to "Extra Help and Vacation", all within the general
class of "Salaries and Wages", and
3. The City Treasurer is further authorized and directed to make
and execute transfers between the following specified items within the
general class of ";Salaries and Wages" of the "Sewage Disposal Fund", to -wit:
(a) Transfer of the sum of $300.00 from "Assistant City Treasurer,
Dart Time" to "Extra Labor, Vacation, etc."
(b) Transfer of the sum of 4500.00 from "Treasurer Cash -Clerk" to
"Extra Labor, Vacation, etc."
