WHEREAS the below mentioned de-aartment funds of the City of Renton, to -wit,
the Water Fund and the Current Fund were required to meet certain obligations
and expenditures which were not foreseeable at the time of the adoption of the
1955 Budget; AND -WTHEREAS it is necessary for the proper administrative operations
and maintenance of the City and said Departments to transfer funds between items
within the general class of "Maintenance and Operations" and of "Salaries and

Wages" as provided for in Chapter 322 of the Session Laws of 1955, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
1. The foregoing recitals and facts are found and determined by the City
Council to be true and correct and that it is to the best interests of the City
of Renton to cause the hereinbelow specified transfers to be made.
2. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to make and execute
transfers between the following specified items within the general class of
"Maintenance and Operation" of the Water Fund, to -wit:
(a) Transfer of the sum of $3000.00 from "Power" and $3000.00 from
"Water Purchases" to "Maintenance and Supplies" as is contained
in the Water Fund Budget, and
3. The City Treasurer is further authorized and directed to make and
execute transfers between the following specified items within the general class
of "Salaries and Wages" of the Current Fund, to -wit:
(a) Transfer of the sum of $600.00 from "Telephone Operator's
Salary" as is contained in the Current Fund to "Extra Labor
and Vacation" within the "Salaries and Wages" of Sanitation
within the Current Fund, and $200.00 from "Assistant
Treasurer's Part Time Salary" as is contained in the Current
Fund to "Extra Labor and Vacations" as is contained in
Sanitation all within the Current Fund.
