HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 0900RESOLUTION NO. 900 WHEREAS, the hereinafter named employees of the City of Renton are members of the Washington Statewide City Employees t Retirement System, in the classification of MISCELLANEOUS PERSONNEL, and said persons having obtained the compulsory re- tirement age, but said persons being presently physically fit to continue such employment and service with the City of Renton and said persons having requested an extension of time under the provisions of said Retirement System and as provided by law, and the City Council of the City of Renton having due regard for such an extension for the purpose of correlating such present benefits with the benefits to be derived from certain Social Security legislation, and it appearing that the below named employees would be qualified to receive said Social Security benefits as of June 30, 195 6., NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: That the time of retirement of the following named employees of the City of Renton, for the reason specified above, and they being members of the Washington Statewide City Employees t Retirement System, under the classification of MISCELLANEOUS PERSONNEL, to -wit: WILLIAM H. WATKINS EMMON H. BEI L EDWARD BUNSTI NE ALBERT H. ERI CKS ON JOSEPH W. ALLEN Be and the same is hereby extended up to and including June 30, 1956. A copy of this Resolution, adopted pursuant to Section XIV, Chapter 71, Laws of 1947, as amended, shall be transmitted by the Clerk of the City of Renton to the Board of Trustees of the aforesaid Washington Statewide City Employeest Retirement System.
