WHEREAS, a petition for the approval of a preliminary plat
for the subdivision of a eertgin tract of land within the City limits
of the City of Renton, as hereinafter more particularly cbreribed,was
presented and filed with the City Council of the City of Renton, which
preliminary plat, as revised, was resubmitted to the City on September
26th, 1956, and WHEREAS after due investigation the Planning Commission
of the City of Renton has considered and recommended the t*e approval
of said preliminary plat; and WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the
City of. Renton, at its regular meetinglon September 26, 1956, fixed
October 10th, 1956, at 8 otelock P.M., at the City Council Chambers
in the City Hall of the City of Renton, Washington, as the time and
place for public hearing upon said petition, and due notices thereof,
having been posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to -such notice a public hearing on said
petition for the approval of the preliminaby plat was held at such
time and date, and the a pproval�.of•.-such plat being deemed proper and
advisable, and such plat making appropriate provisions for streets and
other public ways, and the approval thereof being in the best public
interest, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Petition heretofore submitted by one Glen Mapes, et al,
as mevised, for approval of a preliminary plat for the subdivision of
a tract of land, to -wit:
The east one-half of the north one-half of the northwest
one-quarter of the southwest one-quarter of the northeast
one-quarter of Section 90 Twp. 23 N. Range 5 East, W.M.,
all situated in Renton, King County, Washington.
is hereby granted and approved as such preliminary plat, as modified
and r evised.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 2 d day of October, 1956.
