RESOLUTION NO. / V'
WHEREAS, the City of Renton, being a member of the Statewide City
Employees Retirement,System, has heretofore accumulated a certain sum of
money in the form of released matching funds with said Retirement System,
and,
WHEREAS, the accumulated fund is in excess of the amount required
to cover any contingencies or additional expenses, and,
WHEREAS, it was contemplated by the City of Renton at the time of
adoption of its annual budget for the year 1957 that said released match-
ing funds be applied on and used to pay the City of Renton's share of
pension costs; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Clerk be authorized and directed to do all things
necessary to have said released matching funds applied on and credited to-
ward the City of Renton's share of costs and prior service as incurred by
the City for the year 1957•
2. The City Clerk is further authorized and directed to forward
a copy of this Resolution to the Statewide City Employees Retirement
System for its attention.
