RESOLUTION NO. 922.
WHEREAS, the United States of America, acting through the Housing
and Home Finance Agency, Public Housing Administration, has offered unto
the City of Renton, a Municipal corporation of the State of Washington,
its deed of dedication to certain properties in the Renton Highlands,
known as the administration building area, as more particularly described
below, and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton determines and finds that the accept-
ance of said Deed of Dedication for public purposes will be of general
benefit to the City of Renton and will contribute toward the general
welfare of its citizens, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY TETE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, AS FOLLOWS, TO -WIT:
SECTION I: The Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Renton
are hereby authorized and directed to accept, on behalf of the City of
Renton, that certain Deed of Dedication from the United States of America,
acting through the Housing and Home Finance Agency, Public Housing Ad-
ministration, pertaining to certain lands and improvements thereon,
generally described as the Highlands Administration Building Area, and
as more particularly described in that certain "Deed of Dedication",
the description of which is hereby incorporated herein as if fully set
forth, which deed bears the date of January 11, 1957.
SECTION II: The Mayor and the City Clerk are further authorized
to execute any and all instruments necessary to effectuate the City's
acceptance of said Deed of Dedication.
