WHEREAS, the annual budget and tax levy of the City
of Renton for the year 1957 providefor certain utility service
charges to be paid from the Sewer, Garbage and Water Department
funds unto the Current Fund to pay and cover its proportionate
share of administrative expenses and services, and WHEREAS said
utility service charge has been fixed and established at a rate
of seven and one-half per cent ( 7 doh of the gross revenue of each
of said funds, and said rate being deemed reasonable and fair
under the circutnstances; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF RENTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The City Treasurer of the City of Renton
is hereby authorized and directed to transfer a sum equal to
72 per cent of the gross revenue, determined each month or quarterly
period Iof said Sewer, Garbage and Water Department Fund, unto the
Current Fund, and said payments shall constitute a utility service
charge as provided in the City of Renton annual budget and tax
levy f or the year 1957•
