WHEREAS, the hereinafter named employees of the City of
Renton are members of the Washington Statewide City Employeest Retire-
ment System, in the classification of UNIFORMED PERSONNEL, and said
persons having attained retirement age as provided by law, but said
persons being physically fit to continue such employment and service
with the City of Renton and said persons having requested extension of
the Compulsory Retirement Age, and the Chief. of Police and the City
Council of the City of Renton having approved the request of said
employees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CI'T'Y OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
That the time of compulsory retirement of the following named
employees of the City of Renton, who are members of the Washington
Statewide City Employees' Retirement System under the classification
of UNIFORMED PERSONNEL, to -wit:
JAMES R. CHADWICK
FRED L. ALLINGHAM
BE AND THE SAME IS. HEREBY EXTENDED FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR, to -wit,
until December 1, 1958.
A copy of this Resolution, adopted pursuant to Section XIV,
Chapter 71, Laws of 1947s as amended subsequently thereto, shall be
transmitted by the Clerk of the City of Renton to the Board of Trustees
of the aforesaid Washington Statewide City Employees' Retirement System.
