WHEREAS, the hereinafter named employee of the City of Renton
is a member of the Washington Statewide City Employees' Retirement System,
in the classification of UNIFORMED PERSONNEL., and said person having
attained the maximum extended retirement age, effective as of January 1,,
1958, but said person being physically fit to continue such employment
and service with the City of Renton, and said person being fit and suitable
to fill a supervisory or key position in the Police Department of the City
of Renton., and the Chief of Police having requested such extension, and
the City Council of the City of Renton having approved such request by
unanimous vote;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON, AS FOLLOWS:
That the following named individual, to -wit, ERNEST W. ISACKSON,
who is a member of the Washington Statewide -City Employees' Retirement
System under the classification of UNIFORMED PERSONNEL., is hereby retained
in the Police Departure nt of the City of Renton in a supervisory position,
until further notice, and subject to the consent of the Board of Trustees
of the Washington Statewide City Employees' Retirement System.
A copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded by the City Clerk
of the City of Renton unto the Board of Trustees of the aforesaid Wash-
ington Statewide City Employees' Retirement System, as provided by law.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 12th day of
November, 1957.
