WHEREAS, a petition for the approval of a preliminary
plat for the subdivision of a certain tract of land within the City
Limits of the City of Renton, as hereinafter more particularly de-
scribed, was presented and filed with the City Council; and
WHEREAS, after due investigation the Planning Commission
of the City of Renton has considered and recommended the approval of
said preliminary plat after a public hearing having been held thereon
on October 9, 1957, at the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the
City of Renton, and due notice thereof having been posted as required
by law; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such notice the public hearing on
said petition for the approval of the preliminary plat was held at
such time and date, and the approval of such plat being deemed
proper and advisable, and the approval thereof being in the best
public interest; and
WHEREAS, the final plat has subsequently been submitted
to the City Council End same having been approved and being proper
in all respects, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The final plat heretofore submitted by Hallie H.
Smiley, of Renton, Washington, pertaining to property described as:
The West portion of Block 16, Renton Highlands
No. 2, as per corrected plat,
is hereby granted and approved. as such plat, subject to the laws
and ordinances of the City of Renton.
