HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 0952s —1 IV RESOLUTION NO. 952 BF IT ORDAINED BY fHE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I�ZNTON AS FOLLOWS-. 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Renton to order the improvement of a certain area in the Renton Highlands, including portions of Sunset Boulevard and Tenth Avenue North, the boundaries of said area and district being more particularly described as follows: "Beginning at a point of intersection of the south line of Lot 1. ]Block 13 Renton Highlands Plat produced west to the west line of Sunset Blvd.; thence East along the said produced south line of Lot 1 to the East line of Sunset Blvd.; thence North along the East line of Sunset Blvd., to the South line of Tract 32 Harries Garden Home Tracts; thence East along the south line of said Tract 32 to the East line of said Tract 32; thence Ncrth along the East line of Tracts 32 thru 28 of said Harries Carden Home Tracts produced North to the Ncr th line of Lot 1 Block 1A, Plat of Renton Highlands; thence east along the north line of said Block lA to the West line of Block 2 of said Plat; thence North along the west line of Block 2, Renton Highlands to the South Line of Weed's View Tracts; thence easterly along the South line of said Weed's View Tracts to the east line of the west 75 feet of Tract 19 of said Plat; thence North along the east line of the west 75 feet of Tract 19 to the south line of Tract 18 of said Plat; thence easterly along the south line of Tract 18 to the east line of Tract 18; thence North along the east line of Tract 18 to the north line of Tract 18; thence West along the north line of Tract 18 to -the east margin of the west 75 feet of said tract 18; thence North along the east margin of the west 75 feet of said Tract 18 procliced North to the north line of 10th Ave. N.; thence west along the north line of 10th Ave. N. to the east line of Tract 4, Weed's View Tracts; thence North along the east line of Tract 4 to the north Boundary of Weed's View Tracts; thence northerly to the S.E. corner of a sub -division whose east line is 311.25 feet west of and parallel to the west line of E Street; thence north along this said east line 125 feet more or less; thence East 61.25 feet; thence south 70 feet; thence east 96.5 feet more or less to a line which is 153.5 feet west of and parallel to the west margin of E Street; thence northerly along said line 305 feet more or less; thence east 153.5 feet to the west line of E Street; thence North along the west line of E Street to the north line of Sunset Blvd.; thence in a northwesterly, westerly and southwesterly direction along the northern and western margin of Sunset Blvd. to the point of beginnings including the following trunk lines: A 101t V.C.P. Sewer Line on Sunset Blvd, beginning at an existing sewer man -hole which is approximately 1251 south of the center line of 7th Ave. N.; thence in a northeasterly direction, 16 feet east of the center line, along Sunset Blvd. to a point which is 150 feet more or less west of the center line of E Street. An 811 V.C.P. Sewer Line on 10th Ave. No., 10 feet south of the center line, a distance of 990 feet east from the proposed 10tt sewer line on Sunset Blvd. An 811 V.C.P. Sewer Line on 10th Pl. N., 5 feet south of the center line which begins at the proposed sewer line on Sunset Blvd. and runs east for a distance of 550 feet; thence south 50 feet; thence east 150 feet; thence beginning again at the point on 10th P1.N. which is 550 feet east of Sunset Blvd.; thence north 110 feet; thence east and west respectively a distance of 210 feet." by constructing lateral sanitary sewers, together with manholes and all other appurtenances and accessories thereto; and doing such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with the plans prepared by the City Engineer. The City Council further finds that such improvement is necessary for the public health. 2. That all persons who may desire to object thereto are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a imeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chamber in the City Hall in the City of Renton at 8:00 P.M. on the Lith day of March, 1958, which time and place is -hereby _i`ived for hearing all matters relating to said proposed improvement and all objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment for said improvement. 3. That the City Engineer shall, in the manner provided by law, submit to the City Council, at or prior to said date, all data and information required by law to be submitted. 4. That the cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed against the property liable therefore, as provided by law.
