WHEREAS, the annual budget and tax levy of the City of Renton provides
for certain utility service charges to be paid by and from the Sewer, Garbage
and Water Department Funds unto the City's.Current Fund to thus cover the pro-
portionate share of administrative expenses and services for each such utility
department, and WHEREAS said utility service :charge has been fixed and estab-
lished at a rate .of not to exceed seven and one-half per cent (7z,7.) of the gross
revenue of each of said utility funds, and said rate being deemed reasonable and
satisfactory under the circumstances; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The City Controller is hereby authorized and directed to
transfer a sum not to exceed seven and one-half per cent (727.) of the gross
revenue, the exact percentage of charge to be determined by the City Council
from time to time, from said Sewer, Garbage and eater Department Fund unto the
Current Fund. Said payments shall constitute a utility service charge as provided
in the annual budget and tax levy of the.City of Renton.
