BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF CITY OF RENTON AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Street Commissioner of the City of Renton is hereby
authorized and directed to establish and post signs and markers and do such other
things as may be necessary, including the channelization of one-way traffic on
153rd Street extending from its intersection with 75th Avenue South, easterly to
its intersection with the East Valley Highway, including any streets or alleys.
adjoining thereon. The posting of such signs and the establishment of one-way
traffic shall be limited to a period not to exceed two hours prior to and upon
the close of the regular race track activities at the Longacres Race Track so
as to facilitate and expedite the incoming and outgoing flow of traffic from
said establishment. This Resolution shall be effective only during the regular
Longacres Race Track season.
SECTION II: Any person, firm or corporation violating any provision
of this Resolution shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof
shall be fined a sum not exceeding One Hundred Dollars ($100.00).
SECTION III: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect on
and after June 23, 1959.
