An Ordinance Approving And Confirming The Assessment And As-
sessment Roll of Local Improvement District No. 229 For The Improve-
ment of Shattuck Street From Second Avenue To Third Avenue, Also
Second Avenue From Shattuck Street To Whitworth Street, By The,Con-
struction and Installation Of Six (6) Inch Water Main With Hydrants,
Valves And Appurtenances And Other Work; All In The City Of Renton,
Under Ordinance No. 1346, And Levying And Assessing The Amounts
Thereof Against The Several Lots, Tracts, Parcels of Land and Other
Property as Shown On Said Roll, and Establishing a Local Improve-
ment Fund.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON:
SECTION 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local
Improvement District No. 229 for the improvement of Shattuck Street
from Second Avenue to Third Avenue; also Second Avenue from Shattuck
Street to Whitworth Street; by the construction and installation of
six inch water main with hydrants, valves and appurtenances, all in
the City of Renton under Ordinance No. 1346, as the same now stands,
be, and the same is, hereby in all things approved and confirmed.
SECTION 2: That each of the lots, tracts, parcels of land
and other.property shown upon said roll is hereby declared to.be
specially benefitted by said improvement in at least the amount
charged against the same and that the assessment appearing against
the same is in proportion to the several assessments appearing up-
on said roll. There is hereby levied and assessed against each
such lot, tract, parcel of land and other property appearing upon
such roll the amount finally charged against the same thereon.
SECTION 3: For the purpose of this improvement there is here-
by created and established a special fund to be called "Local Im-
provement Fund, District No. 229."
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and legal publi-
cation.
