ORDINANCE NO. 1380
An Ordinance of The City of Renton, re-establish-
ing the Position of Comptroller, Defining Duties
and Fixing Salary Thereof, For the Period Ending
December 31, 1950.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON:
Section 1: 'There is hereby established in the City of
Renton, for the period commencing July 15, 1950 and ending
December 31, 1950, the position of Comptroller, originally
established by Ordinance No. 1370 .
Section 2: The duties of the City Comptroller shall
be to act as administrative assistant to the Mayor; to as-
sist the Mayor, Clerk and Treasurer in matters of City finance
and administration; and generally to perform such other duties
of the foregoing general nature as may be required of him from
time to time by the Mayor and City Council.
Section 3: The salary of the City Comptrol1er during
the period aforesaid, ending December 31, 1950 shall be the
sum of $50.00 per month; which shall be the maximum salary
paid to the City Comptroller during said period, out of any
funds allocated for such position or office in the present
annual budget.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five days from and after its passage, approval and pub-
lication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Renton, this
lith day of July, 1950.
