HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1386J ORDINANCE NO. 1386 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, FIXING THE AMOUNT OF TAX LEVIES NECESSARY TO MEET THE AMOUNT OF ESTIMATED EXPENSES FOR THE YEAR 1951 LESS THE TOTAL ESTIMATED REVENUES FROM SOURCES OTHER THAN TAXATION, INCLUDING AVAILABLE STRPLUS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY C OLTNC IL OF THE CITY OF RENT ON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: The toal amount of estimated expenses required for the City of Renton for the year 1951 is the sum of $7827573,02, the total estimated revenues from sources other than taxation, in- cluding available surplus, is the sum of $617,197,62, the amount necessary to be raised by taxation is the sum of $165,375.1+0. SECTION 2� There is hereby levied and assessed against the taxable property, real and personal, within the corporate limits 'of the City of Renton, Washington, for the purpose of raising the necessary revenues for said City for the year 1951 the following amounts, to -wits Assessed Valuation - $11,025,027,00.. - For Current Expense Fund......... 8,00 mills- $88,200,22 For Library Fund.. ............... 1.50 11- 16,537.5+ For Park Fund .................... 2.5027t562.57 27,562.57 For Athletic Field (Park) Fund... ,50 " - 5,512.51 For City Street Fund ............. 1.50 " - 537-54 For Firemen's Pension Fund....... 1.00 " - 11,025.02 Grand Tota1.9......15.00 " -$165,375• 1+0 SECTION 3: A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be transmitted to King County Commissioners as provided by law.
