ORDINANCE NO. 1388
AN ORDINANCE OF THF, CITY OF RENTON CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSI-
FICATION OF CERTAIN TRACTS IN THE CITY FROM RESIDENTIAL TO COM-
MERCIAL USE DISTRICT.
WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1164 and the maps adopted
in conjunction therewith as amended, the tract hereinbelow de-
scribed has heretofore been zoned as Residential Use District;
and
WHEREAS under the provisions of Section XU of said
Ordinance a proper petition for change of zone classification
of said tract to Commercial Use District has been filed with
the City Clerk of Renton, and the Planning Commission of said
City having approved such change, and public hearing having
been held thereon by the City Council pursuant to published
Notice of Hearing, and no protests having been filed or made;
Now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON:
Section 1: The following described, tract in the City
of Renton is hereby rezoned and reclassified as a Commercial
Use District, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to
change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance of the City to show
this change; said tract being described as:
That portion of Section 18 Township 23
Range 5 East W.M. lying between the North
line of 3rd Ave. and the South line of
Airport Way and extending eastward. from
the East line of Rainier Ave. to the East
bank of Black River or to a line 200'
eastward and parallel to the east line
of Rainier Ave. whichever may be greater.
Section 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five days from and after its passage, approval and publi-
cation.

1950.
