ORDINANCE NO. 1395
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A
SALARY FUND, FOR THE DRA'KING OF WARRANTS THEREON,
AND FOR THE PAYMRiT OF CERTAIN AI;TOUNTS THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITrY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON:
Section 1: That there is hereby established a special
clearing fund to be known as the "salary fund" for the purpose of
providing a fund upon which warrants shall be drawn for the payment
of all salaries and wages of the various departments of the City of
Renton.
Section 2: That the amount chargeable to each -of the funds
of the various departments of the City of Renton for salaries and
wages for tke preceding semi-monthly period shall be transferred frcxn
each respective fund on the 15th day and the last day of each and
every month to the said "salary fund" and the City Clerk is here-
by authorized and directed from and after the effective date of
this ordinance to pay all wages and salaries to any and all employees
of the various departments of the City of Renton by means of war-
rants drawn on said "salary fund".
Section 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
on the 2nd day of January, 1951.
