AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 1048, RELATING TO THE OPERATION OF MOTOR
DRIVEN VEHICLES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
REGULATION THEREOF AND PROVIDING PENALTY FOR.THE VIOLA-
TION THEREOF*
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 1048 of the City of Renton, known
and designated as the "traffic" code of the City of Benton, entitle d:
"An- ordinance relating to the operation of motor driven
vehicles within the City of Renton, Washington, the
regulation of the use thereof, . providt ng a penalty for
violation hereof and repealing ordinances No. 273, 389,
396, 399, 420, 436, 466, 493, 498, 504, 507, 522, 637,
7560 918, 929, 964 and 969",
BE AND IS HEREBY AMENDED IN THE FOLLOWING CHAPTER, AND BY
ADDING A NEW SECTION THERETO:
Chapter VII of the above described ordinance known and
designated as "Rules of the Road", comprising and con-
stituting Section 1 to 53 inclusive
BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED BY ADDING THERETO A NEW
SECTION, TO BE DESIGNATED AS SECTION 54 of CHAPTER VII TO READ AS
FOLLOWS
NEW SECTION 54:
AIDING AND ABETTING VIOLATION. It is un-
lawful to counsel, aid or abet the violation of or failure to comply
with any of the provisions of this Code.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days
from and after its passage, approval and date of publication.
