ORDINANCE NO, 1409
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON.. WASHINGTON,
PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN
THE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, TO
JESSIE C LULOW .
WHEREAS, the City of Renton, a municipal corporation, has
some right, title and interest in certain real property hereinafter
described, which property is of little value and no benefit to the
City of Renton and is not usable or needed for any purpose, public
or otherwise; and WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Renton
has caused to be duly published a call for bids to purchase the said
real property, calling for the submission and opening of such bids
at the regular Council meeting on the 28th day of August 1951 at the
hour of 8 P.M.; and
WHEREAS: a bid by JESSIE C LULOW was duly submitted, filed and
heard by the City Council at its regular meeting on the 28th day of
August 1951, at 8 P.M., said bid containing an offer to purchase the
right, title and interest of the City of Renton in said real proper-
ty for the net sum of One Hundred Twenty-nine and 10/100 ($129.10)
Dollars, said bidder in addition thereto to pay Nine and 10/100 ($9.50)
Dollars costs of publishing call for bids and One and 40/100 ($1.40)
Dollars State tax on such sale; and the City Council finding that said
sum bid represents the fair and reasonable market value of the Cityts
title or interest in said real property; and no other bids or offers
having been received; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON:
That the said action and findings of the City Council are hereby rati-
fied and confirmed in all respects, and said bid offer of JESSIE
CLULOW on the terms above stated is hereby accepted; and upon her
pay ing to the City said sums totaling One Hundred Forty ($140.00)
Dollars, the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Renton are here-
by fully authorized and empowered to execute and deliver a Quit Claim
Deed and any other documents necessary, conveying and quitclaim-
ing to said JESSIE CLULOW, a widow, any and all right, title and
interest of the City of Renton, a municipal corporation, in the
real property hereinabove referred to, which is particularly des-
cribed as follows:
Lot 17, Block 2, Morgant s Grand View Addition to
Renton, according to plat thereof recorded in
Volume 18 of Plats, page 74, records of King
County, Washington; situated in City of Renton,
County of King, State of Washington.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
