AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PENTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 855
AS HERETOFORE AMENDED, RELATING TO RATES FOR WATER SERVICES..
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON:
That portion of Section Seven (7) of Ordinance No. 855, as heretofore
amended, which now reads as follows:
"The fees for the installation of water service as hereinbefore provided
shall be as follows:
For a three-fourths (3/48) inch connection.............*..$20*00
For a one (1) inch connection.....*.....,**** *..........$23*00
is hereby amended to read as follows
For a three-fourths (3/44) inch connection up to and including forty (401)
feet of three-fourths OAR) inch water service pipe, $50.00* and provided further
that where the length of water service pipe shall exceed forty (401') feet* then an
additional charge based on labor and material for the extra footage shall be added
to the $50.00 fee*
For sizes larger than three-fourths (3/4") inch connection, or where it be-
comes necessary to open* drive or tunnel under a paved street* the actual cost of
labor and material used in laying such a service shall be charged*
All the remainder of said Ordinance and of said Section 7, as the same have
heretofore been amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect, five (5) days after its
passage, approval and legal publication*

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI`T'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON:
That portion of Section Seven (7) of Ordinance No. 855, as here-

before provided shall be as follows:
For a three fourths (3/10) inch connection ........ $20.00
For a one (111) inch connection ....................$23.00
is hereby amended to read as follows:
For a three fourths V+1) inch connection up to and including
forty (401) feet of three fourths (3/4") inch water service pipe.)
$50.001 and provided further that where the length of water ser-
vice pipe shall exceed forty (401) feet, then an additional charge
based on labor and material for the extra footage shall be added
to the $50.00 fee.
