AN ORDINANCE APPROVING .AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESS-
MENT .AND ASSESSMENT ROLL OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DIS-'
TRICT 238 FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF .ALLEY IN BLOCK 179
RENTON HIGHLANDS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF RENTON BY.
GRADING, GRAVELING AND ALL OTHER WORK NECESSARY IN
CONNECTION THEREWITH UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 1?+(4+; LEVY-
ING AND ASSESSING THE .AMOUNT THEREOF .AGAINST THE
SEVERAL LOTS AND PARCELS OF LAND .AND OTHER PROPERTY
AS SHOWN ON SAID ROLL; AND ESTABLISHING A LOCAL IIS
PROVEMENT FUND,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON:
Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local
District #238 for the improvement of the alley in Block 17, Renton
Highlands .Addition to the City of Renton by grading, graveling and
all other work necessary in connection therewith be and the same
is hereby in all things approved and confirmed;
Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts, parcels of land
and other property shown upon said roll is hereby declared to be
specially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount
charged against the same, and that the assessment appearing against
the same is in proportion to several assessments appearing upon said
roll. ILOCis hereby levied and assessed against each such lot,.tractq
parcel of land, and other property appearing upon such rolls the
amount finally charged against the same thereon.
Section 3: For the purpose of this improvement there is here-
by created and established a special fund to be called "Local Im-
provement Fund, District #238".
Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication.
