HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1430ORDINANCE NO. 1430 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY FROM RESIDETATIAL TO COMM)HRCIAL USE DISTRICT, WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1164 and the maps adopted in con- junction therewith as amended, the tract hereinbelow described has here- tofore been zoned as Residential Use District; and WHEREAS under the provisions of Section XV of said Ordinance a proper petition for change of zone classification of said tract to Com- mercial Use District has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton, and the Planning Commission of said City having duly approved such change, and public hearing having been held thereon on the 20th day oz' May ,1952, by the City Council pursuant to published Notice of Hear- ing, and no protests having been filed, heard or made; now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENT ON : Section 1: The following described tract of property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned and reclassified as a Commercial Use District, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to change the maps of the Zon ing Ordinance of the City to show this change; said tract being descri ed as: A portion of Section 16, Township 23, North Range 5, E.W.M. described as follows: bounded on the West by 91st Place South, on the East by Rainier Avenue and bounded on the South by Renton Avenue, all the fore- going in King County, State of Washington. Section 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its passage, approval and publication. PASSED by the City Council this 27th day of MaY ,1952.
