AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR. THE IMPROVEMENT OF
THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 9, RENTON HIGHLANDS ADDI-
TION TO THE CITY OF RENTON
by
grading, stabilizing and seal -coating with .asphaltic road oil and crushed
rock, and all other necessary work in connection therewith,
all in accordance with Resolution No. _A74--- of the City Council of the City of Renton, creating a local
improvement district therefor, and providing that payment for said - v ent be made by special

BE FectFIItBY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
FOLLOWS:
That that certain alley in Block 90 abutting Lots 1 to 24 inclusive,
be improved by
grading, stabilizing and seal -coating said alley with asphaltic road oil
and crushed rock
and that such other work be done as may be necessary in connection therewith, according to the plans
and specifications therefor prepared under the direction of the City Engineer and on file in the office
of the City Clerk.
Section 2: That the cost and expense of said improvement, including all necessary and incidental
expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district herein-
after created in accordance with law. The City of Renton shall not be liable in any manner for any
portion of the cost and expense of said improvement, except as herein provide4 XM the City of
Renton to furnish the labor and the equipment in connection with the
aforementioned improvements.
Section 3: That there is hereby .established a local improvement district to be called "Local Im-
provement District No. -241.___," which said district is described as follows:

Section 4: That the cost and expense of said, improvement shall be defrayed by special assess-
ments payable by the mode of 'M94W Payment" as defined by law and the charter and ordinances

Section 5: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and legal publication.
