ORDINANCE NO. 1520
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM RESIDENCE
SINGLE FAMILY (RS -1) DISTRICT TO RESIDENCE (R-1)
DISTRICT.

WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 172 and the maps adopted in conjunc-
tion therewith, as amended, the property hereinbelow described has hereto-
fore been zoned as Residence Single Family (RS -1) District; and
WHEREAS under the provisions of Ordinance No. 1472 a proper petition
for change of zone classification of said property to Residence (R-1) Dis-
trict has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton, and the
Planning Commission of said City having duly approved such change of class-
ification, and a public hearing having been held thereon by the City Council
on the 5th day of July, 1955, pursuant to notice of hearing duly published
and posted, and no protests having been filed or made;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described property in the City of Renton
is hereby re -zoned and re-classified as a Residence (R-1) District, and
the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of
the zoning ordinance of the City to show this change; said property being
described as follows:
The South 100 feet of Lot 7 in Block 2, and Lot 8 in
Block 3, Woody Glen Addition, located in Section 7,
Township 23 North, Range 5 E.W.M., in King County,
Washington.
SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
