AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
,.MENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1358, AS AMENDED, RELATING,
TO"RE-DISTRIBUTION AND CHANGES IN PRECINCT BOUND-
ARIES IN PRECINCTS 7, 160 20, 21, 22, 230 24 add
25.
WHEREAS certain precincts within the City of Renton, as hereinafter
more particularly described, are in need of redistribution and adjustment
to properly reflect -population changes by reason of annexation and
otherwise, and in order to provide and establish more uniform precincts,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1358 containing the boundary
descriptions of certain precincts within the City of Renton reading as
follows:
1-A. "PRECINCT #7: Beginning at theersection of Renton Avenue
extended with Rainier Avenue; thence fest on Renton Avenue extended
to the intersection of 91st Avenue South extended to 90t1a Avenue;
thence South on 91st Avenue South to City of Seattle pipe line;
thence East al dng said pipe line to 82nd Avenue South; thence South
on 82nd Avenue South following city limit line to intersection with
Primary State Highway #2 with 81st Avenue .South following City
limit line South and East to Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul.
Railway; thence along Chicago, Milwaukee and St,Paul Railway to
the Old Black River Channel; thence along the Old Black River
Channel to 3rd Avenue to the Intersection of 3rd Avenue and Rainier
Avenue; thence North on Rainier Avenue to the intersection of Renton
Avenue extended, the place of beginning."
BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AIENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
PRECINCT NO. 7 AS CORRECTED:
Beginning at the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway at its
intersection with Stevens Street; thence northerly on Stevens Street to
the City limit line; thence westerly, southerly, and easterly along City
limit line to the intersection of Stevens Street and the Chicago, Milwaukee
and St. Paul Railway, being the point of beginning.
1-B."PRECINCT #16: Beginning at the intersection of 4th Avenue north
with E Street; thence North along "E" Street to 5th Avenue North;
thence Northerly Rnd Westerly along the South limits of the Highlands
Addition to State Highway #2; thence North along State Highway #2 to
7th Avenue; thence west along City limit line to Pacific Coast Coal
Company Railway Briquetville line; thence south along said line to
Bronson Way north; thence East along Bronson Way north to Mt. Olivet
Way; thence along Mt. Olivet Way to the intersection with the City
limit line; thence north a�ong City limit to 4th Avenue north; thence
following city limits line easterly to its intersection with "E".Street,
the place of beginning."

.Beginning at the intersection of 4th Avenue North with 120th Avenue
S. E.; thence north along 120th Avenue S.E. to the south line of Renton
Highlands Addition; thence west along the south line of Renton Highlands
Addition to 119th Avenue 5.E.; thence north along 119th Avenue S..E. to
5th Avenue North; thence west along 5th Avenue North to "E" Street;
thence north along "E" Street to the south line of Renton Highlands
Addition; thence westerly and northerly along the south line of Renton
Highlands Addition to Primary State Highway No. 2; thence northerly along
Primary State Highway No. 2 to the City limit line; thence west along
the City limit line to the Pacific Coast Railroad; thence southerly along
the Pacific Coast Railroad to Bronson Way North; thence east along Bronson
Way North to Mount Olivet -'ay; thence east along Mount Olivet Way to the

Highway No. 2, southwest on Primary State Highway No. 2 to "H" Street,
South on "H" Street to 9th Avenue North, east on 9th Avenue North
to "K" Street, South on "K" Street to 7th Avenue North; East on
7th Avenue North to "M" Street at the easterly City Limits, the
place of beginning."

being the point of beginning.
1-F. "PRECINCT #23: Beginning at the intersection of 11th Ave. No. and
Street on the easterly city limits,' north on "M" Street to 12th
Avenue North, West on 12th Avenue North, following the city limit

south along 87th Avenue South to the City limit line; thence along the

SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
SECTION III: A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be trFnsmitted to
the King County Election Board,
