AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING
A CITY BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1957.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the budget for the City of Renton for the year 1957, pre-
pared and filed with the City Clerk, as modified and approved by vote of the City
Council October 1, 1956, after due notice and hearing, be and is hereby in all
respects ratified and adopted as such budget, same being by this reference incorporated
herein as if fully set forth.
SECTION 2: That there be and are hereby allowed and established the follow-
ing total sums for expenditures in each of the foll6wing classifications in said 1957
budget, to wi.t :
(A) Salaries and wages . . . . . . . . . . $775,258.00
Maintenance & Operation. . . . . ... 1432,46i.00
Capital Outlay . . . . . 256,18$.00
Cumulative Reserve Fund #1182 . . . . 15,000.00'
Cumulative Reserve Fund #1183 . . . . 14,000.00
Cumulative Reserve Fund #1184 . . .,. 24,000.00

SECTION 3: That a copy of the budget as hereby adopted be transmitted to
the Office of the State Auditor of Washington, Division of Municipal Corporations.
SECTION : That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
