ORDINANCE NO. 1570
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY (F RENTON FROM "UN-
CLASSIFIED". TO "PUBLIC.USE DISTRICT" (P-1)
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1172, as amended, and the maps
adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described
has heretofore been zoned as Unclassified; and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Ordi&n.ce No. 1472 as amended,
a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to
Public Use District (P-1) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City
of Renton, and the Planning Commission of said City having duly approved
such change -of classification and a public hearing having been held
thereon by the Planning Commission of the City of Renton on September
26, 1956, pursuant to notice of hearing duly published and posted as
provided by law, and no protests or objections having been filed or
made; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described property in the City of
Renton*is hereby re -zoned and re-classified from "UNCLASSIFIED" to
"PUBLIC USE DISTRICT" (P-1), and the City Engineer is hereby -authorized
and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinance of the City of
Renton to show and evidence this change; said property being described
as follows:
Block 49, Renton Highlands Corrected Plat No. 2,
all situate in Renton, King County, Washington,
and said re -zoning to be subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 11.72,
as amended by Ordinance No. 1542.
SECTION II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
