A ORDINANCE NO. 1575 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, PROHIBITING DRINKING OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON PUBLIC STREETS, ALLEYS AND OTHER PUBLIC PROPERTTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: It shall be unlawful for any person to drink any alcoholic beverages on any public street, alley, sidewalk, park- ing lot, playground, or in or about any other public property or place within the City of Renton. SECTION 2: Any person violating any provision of this ordinance.shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine in any sum not exceeding 100.00, or by imprisonment in the City Jail for a term not exceeding 30 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be effective from and after its passage, approval and legal publication. PASSED by the City Council this 16th day of October, 1956. Elton L.
