HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1576ORDINANCE NO. 1576 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, RESTRICTING AND REGULATING PARKING OF VEHICLES ON CERTAIN DESIGNATED STREETS, PROVIDING PENAL- TIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY TI.M MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: Parking of vehicles on the south side of 'Third Avenue between Wells Street and Main Street is hereby prohibited between the hours of 4 P. M. to 5 P. M. daily, except Sundays and Holidays. SECTION II: Parking of vehicles on week -days on the east side of Main Street from its intersection with Fourth Avenue for a distance of 100 feet south therefrom is hereby prohibited.. SECTION III: Any person, firm or corporation violating any pro- vision of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon convic- tion thereof shall be fined J-ff, a sum not exceeding $25.00. SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 16th day of October, 1956. Elton L.
