AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON AMENDING
ORDINANCE N0. a4l6, RELATING TO.THE PUBLIC
HEALTH AND SANITATION, PROVIDING.FOR THE-
ESTABLISHMENT,.MAINTENANCE AND BPERATION OF
A COMPULSORY.SYSTEM.OF GARBAGE AND R EFUSE
COLLECTION AND ITS DISPOSAL: MAKING DELINQUENT
CHARGES.FOR SERVICES -PERFORMED A LIEN UPON
PROPERTY: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES_IN-CONFLICT
HEREWITH AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE
VIOLATION THEREOF._ _
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON$ AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION L: Existing Section 5 of Ordinance No. 1116, reading
as follows, to -wit:
"Section : It shall be unlawful b-` any person

SECTION 5: AS AMENDED, It shall be unlawful for any person
except the duly authorized employees of the City of Renton or the person,
firm or corporation duly authorized by the City under contract for the
collection and disposal of garbage, refuse and swill to hall same through
the streets of the City or to dump garbage$ refuse or swill on the City
garbgge dump site except as hereinbefore provided for "Swill" originating
in commercial establishments within the City of Renton,
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force on and after January 11 1957, following its passage, approval and
legal publication.
