AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
PROVIDING FOR TRANSFER OF FUNDS.BETWEEN.GENERAL
CLASSES AND EXPENDITURES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: For the purpose of providing additional funds for
the operation of the Street Department in order to meet certain
obligations for the payment of salaries which obligations were
not foreseeable at the time of the adoption of the 1956 budget, it
is hereby found necessary for the proper administration, operation,
maintenance of the city and said Street Department to transfer
funds between general classes as hereinbelow specified, and such
transfer is found to be in the best Dublic interest.
SECTION II: The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed
to make and execute a transfer of funds in the sum of $16.00 from
the classification of "City Clerk's Expense, Maintenance and
Operation" unto the "Street Department, Salaries and Wages" for
Clerk's clerical assistance.
