AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM RESIDENCE
SINGLE.FAMILY DISTRICT (R-1) TO RESIDENCE DISTRICT
(R-2).
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps
adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described
has heretofore been zoned as Residence Single Family District (R-1);
and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of aforementioned ordinance, as
amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of said
property to Residence District (R-2) has been filed with the City Clerk
of the City of Renton, which petition was then duly submitted to the
Planning Commission of the City of Renton, and a public hearing having
been held thereon on February 27,,.1957, at 8:00 P. M., in the Council
Chambers of the City of Renton, pursuant to notice of hearing duly
published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning Commission
having duly approved such change of classification of said property
hereinafter described, and no protests or objections having been filed
or made; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the
City of Renton is hereby rezoned as hereinbelow described; and the City
Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the
zoning ordinances of the City of Renton to show and evidence these
changes; said property being described as follows:
That portion of the .. S . E. 1/4 of the N. W_. of
Section 18, Township 23 N. Range 5 E. W.M. and more par-
ticularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the east margin of
91st Avenue S. with the south margin of the City of Seattle
Pipe Line Right of Way; thence N. 89047'40" W. along the
south margin of said pipe line right of way 247 feet more
or less; thence N. 0012120" E. 116feet; thence N. 10050t45"

E. 210 feet to a point on the south margin of S. 133rd
Street; thence easterly along the south margin _.of S.
133rd Street produced to a point of intersection with
the east margin of 91st Avenue S; thence S. 10050145"
W. along said east margin of 91st Avenue S. to the point
of beginning. EXCEPT the south 66 feet thereof for City
of Seattle Pipe Line. Right of Way and the east 60 feet
thereof for street purposes, .
and said rezoning is subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1472
a
as amended by Ordinance No. 1542.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
