AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING SECTION, 2 of . ORDINANCE_ N0. 1314, RELATING
TO CLOSING HOURS FOR RETAIL BEER AND/OR WINE DISPENSERIES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Existing Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1314
reading as follows, to -wit:
"Section 2: All such taverns and "licensed premises"
in the City, in which beer or wine is sold, offered for sale
or consumed by the opened bottle or in glasses, shall be
kept closed and all persons except proprietors and regular
employees thereof shall be excluded therefrom, between the
hours of 1:00 otclock A.M. and 6:00 o'clock A.M. on any day,
and between the hours of 12:01 o'clock A.M. and 12:00 o'clock
P.M. on Sundays."
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2 A.S AMENDED: All such taverns and "licensed
premises" in the City, in which beer or wine is sold, offered for
sale or consumed by the opened bottle or in glasses, shall be kept
closed and all persons except proprietors and regular employees
thereof shall be excluded therefrom, between the hours of 2:00
o'clock A.M. and 6:00 o'clock A.M. on any day, and between the
hours of 12:01 o'clock A.M. Sundays until 6:00 otclock A.M. Mondays.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall become effective from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
