AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT
(S-1) TO SUBURBAN RESIDENCE NO. 1 DISTRICT (SR -1)
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps
adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described
has heretofore been zoned as Suburban Residence District (S-1); and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforementioned ordinance,
as amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of said
property to Suburban Residence No. 1 District (SR -1) has been filed with
the City Clerk of the City of Renton, on or about June 11, 1957, which
petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission of the City
of Renton for investigation and . study,, and a public hearing having
been held thereon on August 28, 1957, in the Council Chambers of the City
of Renton, all pursuant to notice of hearing duly published and posted.
as provided by law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered
and studied said Petition and having unanimously recommended to the
City Council to rezone said property as requested, and said rezoning
being deemed in the public interest; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the
City of Renton is hereby rezoned to Suburban Residence No. 1 District
(SR -1); and the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to
change the maps of the zoning ordinances of the City of Renton to show
and evidence these changes; said property being described as follows;

AND the West 227.311 of the East one-half,
of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest-

Washington.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
