AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM RESIDENCE SINGLE FAMILY
DISTRICT (R-1) TO BUSINESS DISTRICT (B-1)
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1.72, as amended, and the maps
adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described
has heretofore been zoned as. Residence Single Family District (R-1); and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance
as amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of said
property to Business District (B-1) has been filed with the City Clerk
of the City of Renton, on or about August 21, 1957, which petition was
then duly submitted to the'Planning Commission for investigation and
study, and a special committee of said Planning Commission having made
and filed its report therein, and a public hearing having been held
thereon on September 25, 1957, in the Council Chambers of the City of
Renton, all pursuant to notice of hearing duly published and posted as
provided by law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered
and studied said petition and having unanimously recommended to the City
Council to rezone said property as requested, and said rezoning being
deemed in the public interest; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON, AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the
City of Renton is hereby rezoned to Business District (B-1); and the
City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the
zoning ordinances of the City of Renton to show and evidence these
changes; said property being described as follows:
Lots 9, 10, 110 12, and 13 in Block 18; and Lots 14,
15 and 16 in Block 19, all situated in Latimerts Lake
Park Addition, Renton, King County, Washington.

SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
