HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1641ORDINANCE NO. 16 7 / AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS BETWEEN GENERAL CLASSES AND EXPENDITURES BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: For the purpose of providing additional funds for the operation of the City of Renton; Police Court and in order to meet certain obligations for the payment of salaries and wages, which obligations were not foreseeable at the time of the adoption of the 1957 Budget, it is hereby found necessary for the proper administration, operation and maintenance of the City of Renton to transfer funds between General Classes as hereinbelow specified, and as provided in Chapter 322 of the 1955 Session Laws, and such transfers are hereby found to be in the best public interest. SECTION II: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to make and execute the following transfers, to -wit: (A) From Police Court, Current Fund, "Maintenance and operations" accounts as follows: (1) 030.00 from "Books, Maps and Periodicals" account; (2) $150.00 from "Materials and Supplies" account; (3) 150.00 from Toff ice Expense" account; unto Police Court, Current Fund, "Salaries and Wages", extra labor account, a total of $630.00. SECTION III: This Ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage, approval and legal publication. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 22nd day of October, 1957• Elton L.
