ORDINANCE NO. IA(6
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY.OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS OF EXPENDITURES BE-
TWEEN GENERAL CLASSES OF THE WATER FUND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY.COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: For the purpose of providing additional funds
for and the transfer of appropriations between the general classes
of the Water Fund, and in order to meet certain obligations of said
fund, which.obligations were not foreseeable at the time of the
adoption of the 1957 Annual Budget, it is hereby found necessary
for the proper administration, operation and maintenance of the
City of Renton to transfer appropriations of expenditures between
general classes of the Water Fund, as provided in.Chapter 322 of
the 1955 Session Laws, and such transfers are hereby found to be in
the best public interest.
SECTION II: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to make and execute the following transfers, within:the
"Water Fund", to -wit:
(a) From Maintenance & Operations, "Movable Equipment
Maintenance and Operations" Account the sum of $23,000.00 unto
Maintenance and Operations,."Utility Services" Account.
(b) From Maintenance & Operations, "Stationary Equipment
.Maintenance" Account the sum of $2,000.00 unto Maintenance and Opera-
tions, "Utility Services" Account.
(c) Transfer from .'Capital Outlay", "Water Main ,Construction''
Account unto the following'Maintenance & Operations" Accounts of said
Water Fund:
1. "Utility Services" the sum of $2,500.00.
2. "Insurance'' the sum of $55.00
3. ."Pension.&.Retirement" the sum of $400.00.

SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication„
