AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON',
TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS OF EXPENDITURES BE-
TWEEN GENERAL CLASSES OF THE LIBRARY FUND.
WHEREAS, since the adoption of the 1957 Annual Budget,
it has become necessary to provide for payment of certain
obligations and expenditures which were not foreseen at the
time of the adoption of the 1957 Annual Budget; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the proper administration
and operation of the City's Public Library to transfer appro-
priations of expenditures between general classes of said Library
Fund, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE..CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: That the foregoing recitals and facts are
hereby found to be true and existing and that the transfers as
specified hereinbelow are found to be in the best interests of
the City.
SECTION II The -City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to make the following transfers of appropriations in
the Library Fund:
Transfer from .Library Fund, Maintenance and
Operation, "Books, Maps and Periodicals"
Account in the sum of $803.00 unto:
Library Fund, Maintenance and Operation,
"Utilities Service account $ 30.00
Library Fund,.Maintenance and Operation,
"Pension and Retirement" Account 133,00
Library Fund, Capital -Outlay, "Station-
ary Equipment" Account 310.00
Library Fund, Capital-O.utlay,,"Furniture
and Fixtures" Account 330.00'

.SECTION III: This.Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication„
PASSED BY THE CITY.COUNCIL this day of November, 1957.
