AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
CREATING A SPECIAL FUND TO BE KNOWN AND DESIGNATED
AS "PUBLIC WORKS REVOLVING FUND" FOR THE OPERATION
OF THE MUNICIPAL SHOPS,, GRAVEL PIT,, AND CENTRAL
STORES BUREAU, TRANSFERRING CERTAIN ACCOUNTS
THERETO, AND FIXING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF SAID FUND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON,, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: There is hereby created and established a
special fund to be known and designated as the "Public Works
Revolving Fundy. Said fund is established for the purpose of
operation of the municipal shops, gravel pit, and central stores
bureau, including the purchase, lease, repair and replacement of
equipment, materials and supplies to be used in the administration
and operation of said municipal activities.
SECTION II: The accounts of the municipal shops, gravel
pit, and central stores bureau which have heretofore been operated
as part of the Equipment Rental Fund and.City Street.Fund be.and
the same are hereby terminated and transferred to the "Public Works
Revolving Fund" and such transfer to be effective as of January 1,
1958. All materials, supplies and other stocks belonging to the
several funds of the .City of Renton that are stored in the -City
storerooms or are otherwise under the control of the -City Store
Manager or Purchasing Agent shall likewise be transferred into said
"Public Works Revolving Fund*, and such transfer to be effective as
of January 1, 1958.,
SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication.'
